Hello everyone,
I just found out that there will be a TV crew from
ABC - Hawaii at Great Western War (GWW). Tentatively
they have asked to shoot (film) my dance class(es). I
don't know which of my two classes they might come to,
or if they'll be there for both. So, if anyone will
be going to GWW and can drop by for my classes there,
that would be wonderful. I would like to have lots of
students in the classes - it'd be particularly
pathetic-looking if we didn't have enough people to
make a set for each dance!
I am teaching two classes, on English Measures (Inns
of Court) and Intro. 15th century Italian dances,
tentatively scheduled for hour-long classes on
Saturday at 1pm at 2:15pm respectively. (Note that's
a bit of an odd time for the second one, so be sure to
check the schedule posted at the arts encampment.)
They're both scheduled for the 'Anna Maria' room at
the Arts Encampment, but depending on the temperature,
breeze, lumpiness of the ground, and for the sake of
the film crew, lighting, we may well follow a
several-year trend and hold the dance classes outside
beside one of the tents, in an obvious place.
So, that's what little information I have so far. You
are all invited to come by, and please help spread the
word!
