westdance: "Crazy idea," or "Light to Dance By"

Oops, I meant to reply to this earlier myself (sigh. This
work thing, it really gets in the way...).

Anyway, I like the idea. Once or twice we did evening dancing
at Crowns or Coronations, using some big propane torches that
one of the fencing crowd has. They weren't super well attended,
but we did get enough people to have some fun dancing, about as
many as we usually get at dance practice. If it were a regular
thing, maybe we'd get more; hard to tell.

I'm not sure I'd want to run them all the time, or always attend
them, but I'd be happy to help at least some of the time. Greg is
right that we'd have to be careful about the ground. Some sites
do have pretty bad surfaces for dancing. On the other hand, we
should get to pick and choose the best spot on the list field
most of the time, so I'd expect to usually be able to find a place
that's not too bad.

The lighting may be an issue, depending on how obtrusive it is.
If they are too bright or something, maybe we can do something to
alter or shade them. In any case, I think it's worth a try!
