I'm sure you've all heard about this by now, but just in case... it's
the 1st time in a decade that Stanford has included the Renaissance in
a Historic Dance Week. Here's just a bit of the teaser from the
website:
"After a Sunday night welcoming dance with live music by the
Brassworks Band, classes and seminars will be held Monday through
Friday from 9 am to 5 pm with lunch breaks. Most evenings will
feature dances and dance concerts, concluding with a Friday evening
Bal Blanc."
I signed up already, hope you will, too.

Each instructor will be teaching several classes each day, with
multiple topics from their eras of expertise. This will enable those
who want to specialize in an era to take an entire week of one genre,
like all 19th-20th century Vintage Dance, all Renaissance and Baroque,
or all ballet technique. Or one can collect dances from all six
centuries.
