Dance Practices

Crosston holds a dance practice every Wednesday, alternating between Menlo Park and Sunnyvale or San Jose. For details, contact Crystal of the Westermark at secretary@westdance.org.

Competitions

Details about the Pied d'Argent may be found on the Kingdom website The Pied is held at Kingdom Crowns and Coronations.

The Principality of the Mists has the Saltatoris Nebularum competition. Information can be found at the Principality website.

Dancing at Events

The main events with dancing in the West are:

  • The Dutchess' Ball at 12th Night
  • The Crosston Ball, usually held in late January or early February
  • Collegium Occidentalis
  • The competitions mentioned above
  • The Darkwood Baroness' Ball
Westies also attend out-of-Kingdom events with dancing such as the Known World Dance Symposium and Pennsic.
